The Boys varsity soccer team played Chamberlain last Saturday afternoon at Chamberlain. We won 7 to 0 on their home field and on their parents day. This was cool for us and kind of bad for them. We then went on to play Sturgis on Tuesday night and tied them 1 to 1on their home field and on their homecoming week. We all played very hard and gave 100 percent effort the entire game. This game was also the most physical game we have played all season. We all played well together and had a great regular season.
The State soccer tournament is one Thursday, October 11th to Saturday, October 13th. We are ranked number 5 in the state and are guaranteed a spot at the state tournament. The first round of the state tournament is Thursday the 11th and we play the number 4 seed, Sturgis at 9:00 AM. We look forward to the state tournament and hope to advance very far into it. We will also have a game on Friday and one on Saturday all depending on how things start on Thursday. If your free come down and watch us!
