Soccer Games-Tea and Vermillion

The Belle Fourche Boys varsity soccer team had their east river games on August 24th and August 25th. We  played a hard and tiring game against number two, at the time, rated Vermillion on Friday afternoon. Vermillion was a very tough game for us, but we all played together very well and had very few mistakes. We had a number of great scoring attempts lead by the forwards. We also had a lot of great saves that our goalie was able to block. The whole team was able to come together and play well, and keep our heads against a very dirty playing team, but unfortunately we did lose the game.

The second game of the weekend was on Saturday against the Tea area team. We played a very exciting soccer match in near 100 percent humidity and mist. We were all very energized and were very motivated to play. We came back from a 6-0 score at half to end the game with a 8-5 final score. We would have won, had we not made a couple silly mistakes. On the plus side, every one of us left the field with a positive attitude and knowing we played a good game. We look forward this weekend to a game against our biggest rival Hot Springs.

    1. Don't worry about it. We are glad you are back now and you played amazing at our Hot Springs game. You already have made up for it in my book. You come to every practice on-time and bust your butt and work hard. I say Great Job and look forward to a good rest of the season!

  4. Sorry about the loss, Rehmeier. I'm proud that you guys made that great comeback! Doesn't it get tiring always driving to the other side of the state?

  7. Maybe it would be a different story if they always had to drive to this end of the state to play. Traveling long distances can be tiring. Good job regardless.

    1. Thanks. It might be a different story if they were the ones driving in a tiring car all day.
