Lead and Custer Wins!

We played a last great home game against Lead-Deadwood on Tuesday night. We won the game 2-1 with a very well played game by everyone on the field. We all also wanted to thank a very loud and encouraging crowd for their support, which definitely helped us win. This was our last home game of the season and all the seniors were very happy to end on this note. Winning this game also pushed us up into the number seven spot in the South Dakota High School Soccer Association Rankings.

We played Custer at Custer on Saturday afternoon. The game was another great game with a lot of intensity from all the players on the field. We lead Custer three to zero at half and ended the game with a final score of six to three. This win boosted our rankings in the state from number seven to number five. We look forward now to Chamberlain this Saturday and then to a final away game at Sturgis on Tuesday night at Sturgis. This final Sturgis game will ultimately decide where we rank in the state, and whether or not we have to have a play-off game or whether we are in the top six already and are guaranteed a spot at the state tournament. We ask for every person that can some to support us on Tuesday night, September 25th, specifically, to help us get one last final win over Sturgis!

    1. We are going to win them both! We really need to encourage everyone to play together and not get down on ourselves and most of all we have to play the WHOLE game not the last 2 minutes.
